EMERGENCY
FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR COURSE (EFRI)
This
course is open to certified Divemasters and Instructors and you will
learn how to teach people CPR and First Aid. The contents of this course
are not limited to dive related accidents and injuries and therefore
appeals to divers and non divers alike. Since a student needs to have
training in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) prior to enroll in the
PADI Rescue Diver Course, this course is a brilliant business
opportunity for you as a future PADI Instructor!
The course focuses on the effective use of the EFR Instructor and Student
material. You will refine your CPR and First Aid skills by practicing on
a mannequin and with your class mates. You will also learn how to use an
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively.
CARE FOR
CHILDREN INSTRUCTOR COURSE (CFCI)
Additional to the EFR Instructor Course, Care For
Children is specialized on CPR and First aid for infants and children up
to the age of 8 years. The course teaches how to instruct the different
ways of CPR effectively keeping the anatomical differences of infants
and children in mind. Course duration: 1 day
Course
prerequisites:
• Be 18 years old
• Have completed the EFR Primary Care (CPR) Course within the past 24
months
• Have completed the EFR Secondary Care ( First Aid) Course within the
past 24 months
• Have completed the EFR Care for Children Course within the past 24
months
MASTER SCUBA
DIVER TRAINER PREPARATION
After
successful completion of your IE you can continue your training
immediately by taking part in our MSDT Preparation. In only two days
time you will be trained in five specialty areas as Specialty
Instructor. After you have certified your first 25 dive students, you
can apply for the MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER. Since you have completed
your MSDT Preparation with a PADI Course Director, you will be able to
teach your Specialties immediately after receiving authorization from
PADI.
All five Specialties will be done by our tour boat the M/V Seastar at our
prime dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand.

• Be a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

• Be a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
• Be a Specialty Instructor for at least 5 Specialties
• Have certified at least 25 divers
IDC STAFF
INSTRUCTOR COURSE (IDCS)
The PADI IDC
Staff Instructor works with and assists the Course Director on IDCs and
can also independently teach the Assistant Instructor course, which
consists of the first part of the IDC. On this course you will work
closely with the Course Director during an actual IDC and receive
tuition, guidance and feedback throughout. You will learn about IDC
standards and evaluation techniques and assist the Course Director in
evaluating the IDC candidates on the course. You will also be evaluated
on one classroom presentation, one confined water presentation and one
open water presentation during the IDC.
We expect you to attend the IDC preparation course, the IDC and the IE and
be on hand to support and counsel the IDC candidates alongside the
Course Director. Please note you must be a PADI MSDT to be eligible for
this course.
